How it works

Create Your Own Program allows you to customize a wish or needs list based on your exact home care needs. Select items on the list below, then when you are done simply click on "Submit" to generate an email to CAH that summarizes the menu of senior care services you might be interested in receiving a quote on.

Service Options

  1. Household Tasks
  2. Light Housekeeping: clean and keep tidy all living areas
  3. Laundry: wash and change bed linens and launder personal
  4. Meals: cook, grocery shop, prepare food ahead for later meals
  5. Organization: bill paying, banking, mail sorting, other home maintenance
  1. Transportation, Companionship, Safety
  2. Transportation: drive and escort shopping, errands, bank, dr appointments
  3. Companionship: encourage social participation, escort on outings and to recreational events, everyday stimulating conversation, phone call assistance
  4. Safety: supervise in home to avoid falls, household accidents and ensure easy access to emergency contacts
  1. Personal Care
  2. Eating: assist feeding, provide nutritious meals and adequate fluids
  3. Bathing: assist bathing, transferring in/out tub/shower, bed-baths as needed
  4. Dressing / Grooming: assist dressing, glasses, hearing aides, special orthotics (i.e. braces), hair care, shaving, oral hygiene
  5. Ambulation: assist walking, safe use of assistive devices, range of motion and strengthening exercises
  6. Toileting: assist to bathroom, bedside commode, urinal, bedpan usage
  7. Incontinence: assist changing diapers, undergarments, pads, related skin care
  1. Basic Health Monitoring
  2. Skin: monitor for signs of breakdown, apply pressure reduction measures
  3. Nutrition: monitor weight, nutritional intake, adhere to dietary restrictions
  4. Intake / Output: encourage adequate fluids, monitor fluid intake and urine output
  1. Medication Management
  2. When capable: remind to take medications and follow-up
  1. Mobility
  2. Assistance: help perform prescribed exercises, report progress to supervisor
  3. Transfer Assistance: help transferring to or from a wheelchair, bed or chair
  1. Wound and Bedsores
  2. Rotate once every 2-3 hours to help prevent breakdown
  1. Alzheimer's
  2. Home Safety: closely supervise for safe environment
  3. Emotional Support: provide structured activity at appropriate cognitive level to minimize confusion
